WILMINGTON, Del. –– The court overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Imerys Talc America did not err when it appointed a Young Conaway attorney as the Future Claimants’ Representative, concluding in part that it was not persuaded that there was an “actual conflict of interest.”
In the Nov. 24 ruling, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware concluded that the Bankruptcy Court had “conducted a thorough review” and determined that Imerys Talc America’s choice was “up to the task.”
