Talcum Powder Special Master Enters Order Outlining Testing Protocol Relating to Baby Powder Recall

TRENTON, N.J. –– The Special Master appointed to oversee discovery disputes in the national talcum powder multidistrict litigation docket has weighed in on the dispute relating to the recall of a single lot of Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder, outlining testing procedures to be followed in the wake of the announcement.

Special Master Joel A. Pisano explained in the Nov. 1 letter filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that Johnson & Johnson’s proposed order provided for the safeguarding of the recalled products and also for product testing.
