J&J Files Response Supporting Request for Judicial Notice in Suit Brought by Stockholders

NEWARK, N.J. –– Defendants named in a class action lawsuit filed by Johnson & Johnson stockholders have filed a reply brief supporting their efforts to present additional evidence supporting their motion to dismiss, saying that the plaintiffs’ opposition of the Request for Judicial Notice is “misleading.”

In the Aug. 5 brief, the defendants supported their Request for Judicial Notice with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, maintaining that each of the 17 exhibits it wishes the federal court to review are relevant to the proceedings.
