Georgia Talcum Powder Ovarian Cancer Case Set for July Trial Among Those Removed to Federal Court




ATLANTA –– Talcum powder ovarian cancer claims pending in Georgia state court that were scheduled for a July trial are among the thousands that were removed to federal court as part of an effort by Johnson & Johnson to have the cases linked to Imerys Talc America’s bankruptcy proceedings.

According to an April 18 online docket entry with the Georgia State Court for Fulton County, the claims asserted on behalf of Diane Brower had been removed to federal court. Exhibits to the notice of removal were filed the subsequent day.
