ORLANDO, Fla. –– Defendants named in an asbestos cosmetic talcum powder personal injury lawsuit have opposed the plaintiffs’ request to re-open discovery and extend case management deadlines, arguing that it is clear from the motion that the plaintiffs have “failed to engage in discovery in a reasonably diligent manner.”
In a March 12 opposition brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the defendants –– including Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. –– additionally noted that the efforts are the third time the plaintiff has attempted to “re-do her prosecution of this case.”
