Missouri High Court Hears Arguments Relating to Venue Dispute in Talcum Powder Case

ST. LOUIS –– The Missouri Supreme Court has heard oral arguments relating to a venue dispute in what was scheduled to be the seventh talcum powder case to proceed to trial in St. Louis County Circuit Court.

According to the court’s online docket, the case was argued and submitted on Feb. 27.

In October, just three days before the trial of talcum powder claims brought by Michael Blaes were scheduled to be tried, the Missouri Supreme Court issued preliminary writs of prohibition in dockets created for petitions filed separately by Johnson & Johnson and Imerys Talc America, effectively postponing the …
