FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –– Johnson & Johnson defendants named in a Florida talcum powder lawsuit have filed a motion to dismiss fraud, conspiracy, and negligent misrepresentation claims, maintaining that the plaintiffs have failed to point to “actual evidence” to support the causes of action.

In a Feb. 1 motion filed in the Florida 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. maintained that the plaintiffs have failed to state a claim upon which relief could be granted.
