Defense Appeal of Order Asserting Jurisdiction over Talc Defendants Docketed in Missouri Court of Appeals

ST. LOUIS –– The appeal of an order finding specific personal jurisdiction over both defendants in a talcum powder case that ended in a $110 million verdict has been docketed in the Missouri Court of Appeals, according to the court’s online docket.

The defendants filed a notice of appeal with the Eastern District Court of Appeals on Dec. 13; on Dec. 18, the appellate court consolidated the separately filed appeals of the Johnson & Johnson defendants and Imerys Talc America.
