Defendants File Notice of Appeal Contesting Order Rejecting Post-Trial Motions in $110 Million Talc Verdict

ST. LOUIS –– Defendants whose post-trial motions were denied last month by a Missouri state court –– in which the court opined that the plaintiffs had established specific personal jurisdiction over both defendants –– have filed a notice of appeal, according to the court’s online docket.

The notice of appeal filed by Johnson & Johnson, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Co. Inc., and Imerys Talc America was filed with the Missouri Court of Appeal on Dec. 11.
