Fla. Woman Files New Complaint in State Court, Says Talcum Powder Products Caused ‘Cancer of Female Reproductive System’

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –– A Florida woman has filed a talcum powder personal injury suit against Johnson & Johnson defendants in state court, contending that developed cancer of the female reproductive system as a result of using Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower products.

In a complaint filed Aug. 30 in the Florida 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, plaintiff Helen M. Whitaker accused the defendants of marketing and selling products that were defective, “dangerous to human health, unfit and unsustainable to be advertised, marketed and sold in the United States.”
