Plaintiff in California Talc Trial Refutes J&J’s Claim that Pathologist’s Testimony was ‘Speculative’

LOS ANGELES –– A talcum powder plaintiff whose claims are currently being tried in California has fought back against defendant objections to portions of testimony offered by the plaintiff’s pathologist, maintaining that the appropriate time to raise the objection was when the expert was on the stand, not after he had been dismissed.
In the Aug. 4 response brief filed in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County the plaintiff further argued that the testifying expert –– John Godleski, M.D. –– is world-renowned as an expert in his field and did not offer speculative testimony.
