Plaintiffs’ Toxicologist Expert On the Stand in California Talcum Powder Trial

LOS ANGELES –– Jurors picked to assess claims in what is the first talcum powder case to proceed to trial in California are currently hearing the testimony of the plaintiffs’ toxicologist, Dr. Laura Plunkett, sources told HarrisMartin.

The California Superior Court for Los Angeles County jury began hearing Plunkett’s testimony on July 27.

Jury selection began in the trial on July 24; while it was expected to continue until at least July 26, a jury was picked earlier than anticipated, allowing the parties to deliver opening arguments on July 26.
