Jury Selection Begins in First California Talcum Powder Trial

LOS ANGELES –– Jury selection is underway in what will be the first talcum powder case to proceed to trial in California, sources confirmed to HarrisMartin.

Sources told HarrisMartin that opening arguments trial –– taking place in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County –– is expected to start on July 27.

In a statement of the case filed July 20, the plaintiffs explained that the underlying claims involve the use of talcum powder products by 62-year-old Eva Echeverria.
