D.C. Court Vacates July Trial Setting in Talcum Powder Case; Mediation Scheduled for 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– The July trial of a Washington, D.C. talcum powder case has been continued by the court, which additionally scheduled a mediation session for March 22, 2018.

According to a number of online docket entries entered May 24, the District of Columbia Superior Court issued sua sponte orders vacating pretrial conference and jury trial dates, but only rescheduling the mediation session.

At the May 8 status hearing, the parties informed the court that a proposed scheduling order had been filed and that the week of November 27 “may be available for Daubert hearings if necessary.”
