Special Master in Missouri Talc Case Orders J&J Defendants to Produce Documents They Said Were Privileged

ST. LOUIS –– The Special Master working with the talcum powder claims pending in Missouri state court have weighed in on defense privilege objections, ordering the defendants to produce a number of documents that the defendants had maintained were protected by privilege or the work product doctrine.
In the March 6 order, Special Master Glenn A. Norton of Blitz, Bardgett & Deutsch in St. Louis asked the Johnson & Johnson defendants to produce approximately 270 documents it had said were not discoverable.
