Talcum Powder MDL Court Asks Plaintiffs to Respond to Motions to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction

TRENTON, N.J. – The court overseeing the federal talcum powder multidistrict litigation has asked the plaintiffs in certain actions to respond to motions to dismiss filed by the defendants, according to a text order issued by the court.

The March 2 text order issued by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey said that, pursuant to the court’s direction provided during a Feb. 22 status conference, the plaintiffs shall file their opposition to defendants’ motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction by March 8.
