Appeal of $72 Million Talcum Powder Verdict Placed on May Docket in Missouri Appellate Court

ST. LOUIS –– The appeal of a $72 million verdict entered in the first talcum powder case to proceed to trial in Missouri has been docketed in a Missouri appellate court for May 10, according to the court’s online docket.
In a March 6 docket entry, the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, noted that the case had been docketed in Division 3 before Judges Angela T. Quigless, Robert G. Dowd, and Lisa Van Amburg for May 10.
The defendants had filed a notice of request for oral argument last month.
