Missouri Court Denies Defense Efforts to Stay Talcum Powder Case Slated for Jan. 2017 Trial

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri court overseeing a multi-plaintiff talcum powder case has denied defense efforts to stay upcoming talc trials, according to an entry on the court’s online docket.
The Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court for St. Louis City noted that the motions were heard on Dec. 5 and denied one day later.
Jury selection is slated to begin in the action on January 30, the docket entry also stated.
Defendants Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. had moved to stay all upcoming trials pending in the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court until the appeals of …
