J&J Granted Extension in Filing Brief in Appeal of $55 Million Talcum Powder Verdict




ST. LOUIS –– The Johnson & Johnson defendants found liable at the conclusion of a talcum powder trial have been granted an extension in filing their appellate brief, according to a recent docket entry in the Missouri appellate court.

The Johnson & Johnson defendants now have until Jan. 11 to file their brief, according to the Dec. 7 docket entry with the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals; the defendants had sought the extension one day prior to the court’s ruling.
