Appellate Court Issues Briefing Schedule for Appeal of Recently Dismissed N.J. Talc Cases




ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. –– An appellate court slated to weigh in on whether a trial court was correct in its assessment that talcum powder claims were not supported by admissible evidence has issued a briefing schedule but has yet to set an oral argument date, sources told HarrisMartin.

The Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court ordered that the appellant’s brief and appendix be filed by Dec. 22, while responses are due by Jan. 23.

The court asked that the plaintiffs’ reply briefs be filed by Feb. 2.
