Johnson & Johnson Defendants’ Motion for Directed Verdict Denied; Plaintiff Concludes Case




ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri state court overseeing what is the third talcum powder trial in the state has denied the Johnson & Johnson defendants’ motion for a directed verdict at the close of the plaintiffs’ case, according to the court’s docket.

The Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City also denied the defendants’ motion to strike the opinions of Drs. Ness and Godleski. The court denied a separate motion for directed verdict filed by Imerys Talc America, another defendant involve in the ongoing trial.
