Johnson & Johnson Asks Missouri Court to Reconsider Denial of Motion to Stay

ST. LOUIS –– Johnson & Johnson has asked a Missouri state court to reconsider its ruling denying a motion to stay a talcum powder lawsuit, according to a recent docket entry.
The motion to reconsider was filed on Sept. 14 in the Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City, a few weeks after Judge Bryan Hettenbach denied the defense requests to stay the proceedings until a state appellate court ruled in on the recent talcum powder verdicts.
Judge Hettenbach denied the motion on Aug. 31 and subsequently transferred the claims to another division for all pre-trial matters.
