Hon. Lisa Hart Cole Assigned as Coordination Trial Judge for California’s Talcum Powder Docket

LOS ANGELES –– Judge Lisa Hart Cole of the Los Angeles Superior Court has been assigned as the coordination trial judge for the state’s coordinated docket for talcum powder personal injury claims.

The assignment was revealed in the Judicial Council of California Civil Case Coordination Proceeding Log, and comes one month after the JCCP granted the petition to create the coordinated docket for the state’s growing number of talcum powder claims.

Sources told HarrisMartin that while Judge Cole will oversee the docket until the end of the year, Judge Maren Nelson will take over in 2017.
