Nearly 190 Talcum Powder Cases Now Pending in New Jersey; First Case Still Slated for October Trial

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. –– There are now 189 talcum powder personal injury lawsuits pending against Johnson & Johnson defendants in New Jersey’s coordinated docket with the first one still scheduled to begin trial in October, according to a recent case list.

The New Jersey Superior Court for Atlantic County released the current list on Aug. 22, nearly one year after the litigation received a multi-county litigation designation.

The parties involved in the case set for trial –– brought by Brandi and Joel Carl –– are awaiting the court’s ruling on admissibility challenges and motions for summary judgment. The court …
