New Mexico Talcum Powder Plaintiffs Move to Remand Suit, Say No Federal Jurisdiction Exists

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. –– Plaintiffs with claims pending in New Mexico’s federal court have moved to remand the case, maintaining that there is no basis for the court to exercise jurisdiction over the claims.

In the July 14 motion to remand filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, the plaintiffs argued that the defendants have “significant operations” in the state and employ New Mexico residents.
