New California Talcum Powder Cases Filed, Noticed as Add-On for Potential Coordination

OAKLAND, Calif. –– Two new talcum powder exposure suits have been filed against Johnson & Johnson defendants in Alameda County, with one of the cases noticed as a potential add-on case to the pending petition for coordination of the talc cases.

On July 12, a notice of submission of potential add-on cases for coordination of the case into JCCP 4872, a coordinated docket that will address California’s pending talc-based powder claims.

A hearing on the petition for coordination is set for July 29 in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
