Rite Aid Files Cross-Complaint Against Co-Defendants Named in Talcum Powder Suit

LOS ANGELES –– A defendant recently named in a talc-based powder exposure lawsuit has filed a cross-complaint against its co-defendants, saying that those companies are responsible for the injuries suffered by the plaintiff.

Defendant Thrifty Payless Inc., doing business as Rite Aid Corp., said in the May 27 cross-complaint filed in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County that the cross-defendants, including Johnson & Johnson, are legally responsibly for causing the underlying allegations.
