LOS ANGELES –– The Chair of the Judicial Council of California has issued an order assigning a coordination motion judge to address a petition to create a coordinated docket for the state’s pending talc-based powder exposure suits.
In a June 14 notice filed with one of the pending cases in the Los Angeles Superior Court, counsel for the plaintiffs indicated that the Chair of the Judicial Council had assigned the request to the Assistant Supervising Judge of Complex Litigation Courts in the Los Angeles Superior Court and scheduled a July 29 hearing to address the petition.
