Calif. Parties Seek Creation of Coordinated Docket for Talc-Based Powder Exposure Suits

LOS ANGELES –– Several plaintiffs with talc-based powder exposure claims pending in California state court have filed a petition for coordination, contending that coordination of the cases would avoid duplicative or inconsistent rulings.

In a May 24 petition filed with the Judicial Council of California, Chair of the Judicial Council, the plaintiffs argued that all the plaintiffs in the underlying actions seek recovery for injuries and damages as a result of developing ovarian cancer.
