8th Circuit Issues Briefing Schedule in Talc-Based Powder Appeal

ST. LOUIS –– The 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued a briefing schedule in the defendants’ appeal of an order dismissing a talc-based powder lawsuit, according to documents recently filed with the federal appellate court.

In the May 3 briefing schedule, the 8th Circuit gave the defendants until June 13 to file their appellant brief. The plaintiffs’ response is due 30 days after the defendants file their documents, the court said.

If the defendants chose to file a reply, it will be due 14 days after the plaintiffs file their response, the court said.
