Missouri Plaintiffs Move to Voluntarily Dismiss Talcum Powder Ovarian Cancer Case Without Prejudice

ST. LOUIS –– Plaintiffs asserting claims relating to alleged harmful exposure to talcum powder have moved to voluntarily dismiss their case without prejudice and with leave to re-file, according to a recent motion filed with the court.

The motion was filed on March 11 with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Michael Blaes filed the lawsuit, contending that his wife’s ovarian cancer was caused by her use of Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower talc-containing products.
