Lumber Liquidators Announces ‘Unexpected’ Resignation of President, CEO Lynch

TOANO, Va. — Lumber Liquidators CEO Robert M. Lynch has resigned his position as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, according to a press release issued this morning.

The brief statement released by Lumber Liquidators indicated that Lynch’s departure was unexpected and that the company intends to commence a national search for the executive’s replacement.

In the interim, Thomas D. Sullivan, who founded Lumber Liquidators, will serve as the acting CEO, the statement said. In addition to Lynch’s resignation, Lumber Liquidators announced that John M. Presley, who serves as lead independent director for the company, has been appointed …
