Plaintiffs Seek Expedited Discovery Ahead of Lumber Liquidators Injunction Hearing

SAN FRANCISCO — A group of plaintiffs who filed for an injunction to stop Lumber Liquidators from continuing its formaldehyde home testing program have asked a federal judge for permission to depose two company representatives with knowledge of how the program is being implemented.
In an April 30 motion for limited expedited discovery, the plaintiffs argue the depositions are necessary to clear up inconsistencies in what Lumber Liquidators has stated in court filings about the formaldehyde air monitoring program and what the company is telling consumers who request the tests.
