Plaintiffs Ask JPML to Consolidate, Transfer Lumber Liquidators Chinese Flooring Actions

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to transfer all Lumber Liquidators flooring actions to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for consolidation of all pretrial proceedings.

In a March 9 petition, plaintiffs Shelly Conte, Mark Reyes and Daniel Tacktill assert that the actions present common questions of fact because they all allege that Chinese-made flooring products sold at Lumber Liquidators retail stores emit formaldehyde levels above the standards set by the California Air Resource Board (CARB).
