MINEOLA, N.Y. — A New York judge has ordered the plaintiff in a Superstorm Sandy coverage action to comply with an insurer’s request for information concerning funds he received from a state reconstruction assistance program, ruling that the plaintiff will not be prejudiced in doing so.
In a Nov. 16 order, Judge Anthony Parga of the Nassau County Supreme Court also barred the plaintiff’s wife from testifying as a witness because she did not appear for a deposition as requested by the insurer.
