DAYTON, Ohio — An Ohio couple has sued the makers of Remicade, accusing them of failing to warn patients and doctors that the anti-inflammatory drug can cause lung cancer while marketing the drug as safe and effective.
The June 20 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio says defendants were in possession of information demonstrating an association between Remicade and cancer, yet failed to include that information in the drug’s labeling.
