CAMDEN, N.J. — A New Jersey federal magistrate judge has denied without prejudice an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in a Superstorm Sandy insurance coverage case and scheduled a Daubert hearing to determine the admissibility of the plaintiff’s expert report.
In a May 9 order, Magistrate Judge Renee M. Bumb of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey explained that while the insurer’s arguments “appear to be well-founded,” a Daubert hearing is required.
