ORLANDO, Fla. — A Florida federal judge has awarded an insurer summary judgment in a hurricane damage subrogation action, ruling that the insured subcontractor’s allegedly faulty installation of roofs in condominium buildings did not result in “property damage” as that term is defined in the policy.
According to the allegations in the underlying complaint against the subcontractor, the roofs had been damaged but did not cause damage to other elements of the condominium, Judge Gregory A.
