NEWARK, N.J. — In its answer to an amended complaint seeking coverage for Superstorm Sandy-related property damage, Surety National Corp. argues that coverage is barred by various policy exclusions for water damage and faulty or defective design.
In its Oct. 16 answer filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the insurer also referred to a policy exclusion for wear and tear and deterioration.
