N.J. Judge Denies Policyholder’s Motion to Extend Discovery, Says Insurer Would be Prejudiced

NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey federal magistrate judge has denied a policyholder’s motion to extend discovery in a Superstorm Sandy coverage case in order to back his newly asserted claim for complete rebuilding of his property, finding the insurer would be prejudiced by such an extension.

In a Sept. 3 order, Magistrate Judge Douglas E.
