NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana federal judge has limited the testimony of a plaintiff’s expert in a Hurricane Isaac property damage case, finding the expert’s report does not comply with Federal Rule of Procedure 26 because it does not clearly articulate his opinions.
In a March 9 order, Judge Jane T. Milazzo of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana also denied the plaintiff’s motion to bar the testimony of two of the insurer’s experts, finding their detailed inspection of the plaintiff’s roof is a reliable method of determining the age of a roof.
