NEW ORLEANS — Plaintiffs in a lawsuit seeking coverage for property damage allegedly caused by Hurricane Isaac assert that the testimony of their roofing contractor expert should not be limited to only five of the damaged properties at issue because his comprehensive report meets federal discovery requirements.
In a March 6 motion for reconsideration filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, plaintiffs further argue that the expert relied only on estimates he prepared himself after observing the damage allegedly caused by the hurricane.
