NEW YORK –– Plaintiffs with claims pending in the Superstorm Sandy docket in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York have asked the panel of judges to administratively close 269 cases, saying that tentative settlement agreements have been reached.
The plaintiffs originally filed an exhibit listing 160 cases in which tentative settlement agreements had been reached, but amended that exhibit one week later to add an additional 109 cases.
