NEW ORLEANS — Since an insured failed to respond to an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in a Hurricane Isaac flood damage case, the insurer is entitled to an award of summary judgment, a Louisiana federal judge has ruled.
In a Jan. 22 order, Judge Nannette J. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana awarded The Hartford Fire Insurance Co. summary judgment.
