NEW YORK — Federal magistrate judges assigned to more than 1,000 Superstorm Sandy cases in New York will not reconsider a far-reaching discovery order issued in the wake of recent evidence indicating that certain engineering reports were improperly altered to limit or eliminate coverage for storm-related damage.
