TRENTON, N.J. — An initial case management order has been entered in New Jersey federal court, setting new guidelines aimed at speeding resolution of more than 600 pending Superstorm Sandy insurance coverage lawsuits.
The CMO was issued March 25, nearly three weeks after judges in the U.S. District Court of the District of New Jersey held a public meeting with counsel for insurers and policyholders who have filed claims involving coverage under standard flood insurance policies.
