TRENTON, N.J. — Case management conferences in numerous Superstorm Sandy insurance coverage lawsuits have been adjourned pending the anticipated release of an order that court officials say will govern procedures in Sandy-related cases filed in New Jersey federal courts.
According to orders entered in the past week, as well as a notice posted on the website of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, counsel and judges assigned to more than 600 Sandy coverage cases met in Trenton on March 6 to discuss parameters of an initial Case Management Order for Superstorm Sandy litigation.
