NEW YORK — A federal judge in New York has dismissed all but two of nearly four dozen plaintiffs who earlier this month joined together to sue the National Flood Insurance Program for wrongfully denying their Superstorm Sandy flood claims, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting.
Judge Allyne R. Ross of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York said in a Nov. 22 opinion that the circumstances surrounding each of the 42 plaintiffs’ property damage claims are likely too unique to be resolved in a single lawsuit.
