CAMDEN, N.J. — The owner of a vacation club property in New Jersey has sued several insurers seeking coverage of $1.9 million in damage caused by Superstorm Sandy, as well as any additional losses that may be discovered during restoration and repair of the property.
In a lawsuit filed in Atlantic County Superior Court and removed to federal court Nov. 4, Legacy Vacation Club alleges that the insurers have so far refused to pay for the damage and, as a result, breached their contract under a policy issued to the plaintiff.
