NEW YORK — A New York law firm has filed a declaratory judgment action against Hartford Casualty Insurance Co., seeking $125,000 in business interruption losses the firm allegedly sustained when Superstorm Sandy caused its offices to shut down for a week.
In an Oct. 16 complaint filed in the New York County Supreme Court, the firm accuses Hartford of denying its insurance claim in bad faith, arguing that all conditions precedent under the policy have been met.
